One Person Killed After Car Goes into Water in West Marin
The New Year's Eve incident occurred near Tomales Bay at about 5:30 p.m.

One person has died after a car went into the water near Tomales Bay in Marin County this evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicle went into the water at 20215 Shoreline Highway atMarshall Petaluma Road around 5:30 p.m., a CHP official said.
Two people were pulled from the vehicle and transported toPetaluma Valley Hospital, where one was pronounced dead, a CHP official said.
