Northbound 101 Cleared After Two-Car Accident

A woman was transported to Novato Community Hospital after complaining of pain from a two-car accident.

Traffic from a two-car accident blocking the left lane northbound on Highway 101 near the Miller Creek Road exit cleared around 5:05 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Ralph Cagginano.

 At approximately 4:20 p.m San Rafael firefighters responded to the accident involving a Toyota Prius and a Honda Civic. Paramedics transported one female who complained of pain to Novato Community Hospital, according to Caggiano.

CHP assisted with traffic control during rush hour until the road cleared, he said.
