Motorcyclist Injured in Tamales Bay Crash

A crash involving two motorcycles blocked traffic on Highway 1 for about 40 minutes.

A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a crash on State Highway 1 in west Marin County this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

A crash involving two motorcycles was reported at about 10:30 a.m. on Highway 1 near Tomales Bay, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

One of the riders was hospitalized with serious back injuries, Bartlett said.

The crash blocked traffic for about 40 minutes.

The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
