Man Booked for Allegedly Shooting at House

Suspect thought people were inside his home.

A San Rafael man was arrested shortly after midnight on Sunday after he shot at what he thought were two intruders.

Frank Joseph Santoro, 50, thought he saw two people sitting on his couch at his home on the 100-block of Yosemite Road, San Rafael Police said. He went into a bedroom where his roommate was sleeping and grabbed a shotgun.

Police said he fired the gun and a pellet went through a kitchen window, striking a neighboring house. No one was injured.
