Man Accused of Stealing Apple Laptop from Apartment

A local man was arrested on suspicion of stealing an Apple laptop from an apartment on Third Street earlier this month, according to police spokesman Charly Taylor.

Spencer Mark Reiser, who listed his occupation as a graphic designer, was booked in on charges of burglary. His bail is $50,000.

On July 7, the suspect entered the apartment on the 500 block of Third Street by prying open a window and then left with the laptop. Police identified Reiser as the suspect, and when they contacted him, the 26-year-old told officers he would not come in for questioning out of fear of being arrested, Taylor said.

With the help of the , they located Reiser on the 200 block of Cantera Way and arrested him on July 19.
