Man Accused of Burglarizing Car on Hoag Street

A local man is suspected of burglarizing a car early this morning after he allegedly broke its window with a piece of wood.

San Rafael police a local man on suspicion of burglarizing a vehicle early Monday morning, accordign to police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher.

Javier Manuel Pool-Blanco, 27, was booked in on charges of burglary. His bail is set at $50,000.

At approximately 2:51 a.m., police received reports that a man was breaking in to a Ford Explorer parked on Hoag Street near East Francisco Boulevard. The suspect entered the vehicle by breaking the window with a piece of wood, according to Rorhbacher.

"Officers arrived to find Blanco rummaging through the car," she said.

He was arrested without incident.
