San Anselmo police arrested a local man suspected of stealing a bicycle from a residential garage in Corte Madera Tuesday, according to authorities.
San Rafael resident Erik Henry Wykowski, 21, was booked in on charges of burglary and violation of probation. His bail is $50,000.
At approximately 5 p.m. on July 10, Wykowski allegedly entered an unlocked garage in a residential area near a bus stop on 101 Tamalpais Drive, according to Detective Vera Hicks. He took a bicycle and fled the scene.
The residents noticed the missing property, and a witness spotted the suspect near the bus stop where he was arrested.
