High Tide Closes Highway 101 to 1 Connection

The ramp connecting Hwy. 101 to Mill Valley is expected to reopen around 2 p.m., according to Caltrans officials.

Caltrans has closed the connector ramp from northbound U.S. Highway 101 to state Highway 1 near Tamalpais Valley because of an unusually high tide.

The ramp is expected to reopen around 2 p.m., Caltrans spokesman Steve Williams said.

Motorists are advised to take the Marin City/Sausalito exit just south of the Hwy. 1 exit and to expect delays, he said.

It would be nice if the comments section had "Thumbs up / Thumbs down" like the PressRead More Democrat.

We have been to Pet Emergency a few times with various animals over the years, and they areRead More absolutely FANTASTIC! Top quality medical care, and a very caring and compassionate staff. I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
