Gang Crackdown Leads to Four Arrests

Several Marin law enforcement agencies conducted a gang suppression operation on Monday that resulted in four arrests of San Rafael residents.

Several Marin law enforcement agencies conducted a recent gang suppression operation resulted in four arrests of San Rafael residents, according to Sgt. Raul Aguilar.

The operation took place on Monday, with coordination from the sheriff, the Marin county probation department and San Rafael and Novato police agencies.

The following local suspects were arrested and booked at the :

  • Edilberto Alvarez Lopez, 21, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale.
  • Ashley Raye Myers, 21, on suspicion of two felony warrants and other charges.
  • Irbin Mendez Munoz, 20, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
  • Edgar Alexander Aguilar, 22, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
