Four Injured in Two-Car Crash on Highway 37

A woman from Vacaville and an 11-year-old boy as well as two people from Berkeley suffered injuries in a collision on Highway 37.

Four people were injured this afternoon in a two-car collision in Marin County after one car attempted to make a u-turn on state Highway 37, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 2006 Toyota driven by an 81-year-old woman was traveling east on Highway 37 around 1:20 p.m. when it pulled over to the right shoulder just east of Novato Creek in order to make a u-turn, said CHP Officer Kevin Kirk.

The Toyota turned left across the highway to begin making a u-turn, and drove directly into the path of an eastbound 2007 Honda that was approaching from behind.
