Fairfax Police Holding Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

The Oct. 26 event is part of a national effort to dispose of unwanted meds.

The Fairfax Police Department wants your unwanted meds.

The town's police are participating in a national effort to provide a safe, convenient, and ecologically responsible method of prescription drug disposal.

The Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be held on Oct. 26.

Anyone with medications they no longer need can dispose of them safely by bringing them the Fairfax Police Station (142 Bolinas Road) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
