Sheriff’s deputies arrested two suspects accused of stealing a woman’s purse from her car at McNears Beach at 201 Cantera Way, according to Sgt. Mark Hale
Clevon McPherson, 32, and Lois Feagins, 23, were booked in Marin County Jail on charges of auto burglary. Both suspects are from Vallejo, Calif.
On June 26 at approximately 5:37 p.m., a woman reported that a black male and a white female fled in a red SUV after breaking the window of her parked car and stealing her purse and some personal belongings, Hale said.
The victim provided the deputies with the license plate number of the SUV, but the vehicle was not located until the next day when it was found at a residence in unincorporated Vallejo. With the help of the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, the deputies discovered that the two suspects matched the description from the victim, according to Hale.
“The victim’s stolen property was recovered and both subjects were arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail for auto burglary,” he said.
