Deputies Arrest Man Suspected of Stabbing Bus Driver

A man boarded a bus at 120 North Redwood Drive this morning and stabbed the driver in the face, head and neck, deputies said.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office arrested a man suspected of stabbing the driver of a county shuttle bus this morning, a sheriff's sergeant said.

San Rafael resident Domenic Robert Ogilvie, 26, was booked in Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. His bail is set at $50,000.

Ogilvie allegedly boarded the bus at 120 North Redwood Drive in San Rafael around 8:45 a.m. and stabbed the driver in the face, head and neck with a sharp metal object, sheriff's Sgt. Craig Scardina said.

The bus driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, Scardina said.
