Foul Play Ruled Out in Reservoir Road Man's Death

Police are investigating the death of a San Rafael resident from Gerstle Park that occurred over the weekend.

 

Police do not suspect foul play regarding the death of a Gerstle Park neighbor, the Marin Independent Journal reports.

Police found the man's body in his house on the 100 block of Reservoir Road over the weekend after they received a call from the resident's family member who was requesting a welfare check from the man.

"We believe that there's been no foul play and no reason to believe there's any suspects out there," Lt. Dan Fink told the Marin IJ.

The police are still waiting for the toxicology report.

San Rafael's Crime Scene Investigation unit left the area on sunday afternoon.

One person, who wished to remain nameless, said the man was the father of two girls and had recently separated from his wife and kept to himself lately.
