Crash on Northbound 101 Ties Up Traffic

No one injured in solo spinout near North San Pedro Road exit in Terra Linda.

A solo car crash in San Rafael tied up Tuesday afternoon traffic on Highway 101, the California Highway Patrol said.

A spinout was reported at 4:05 p.m. on northbound 101 at the North San Pedro Road exit, CHP officer Andrew Barclay said. Preliminary information was that a silver sedan struck a guardrail came to rest in a northbound lane.

The San Rafael Fire Department responded and briefly closed traffic in two lanes. Paramedics treated a driver but nobody was transported to a hospital, Barclay said.
