Corte Madera Woman Arrested for Vandalism, Malicious Mischief

High number of drunk and disorderly arrests over the three-day weekend.

Alexandra Todd, 20, of Corte Madera was arrested around 10 p.m. Saturday night for burglary, malicious mischief, vandalism, and disorderly conduct/drunk in public.

According to San Rafael Cpl. Lisa Holton, the police department received a report of an alarm sounding in the 1200 block of Second Street. Officers responded and found a window smashed at the business at 1225 Second St.

Officers also found Todd in front of the business, said Holton, with cuts on her hand and under the influence of alcohol. Todd was also found in the possession of jewelry from the business, said Holton. Being drunk further violated Todd's probation.

She was arrested and booked into the county jail, where she is being held on $30,000 bail.

According to county booking logs, there were six DUI arrests in Marin in the last 24-hours, two arrests for disorderly conduct/being drunk in public, and three arrests for possession of a controlled substance. The high number of misconduct arrests, said Holton, was more than on a regular weekend, but common for a three day weekend.
