The Marin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a kidnapping and sexual assault Thursday night that began at the Kentfield campus of the College of Marin.

Sheriff's Sgt. Nina Snyder would not say if the victim was a student or a male or female, but the College of Marin Police Department said the victim was a male.

The victim found a male sitting in the back seat of his car in parking lot 13 around 8:15 p.m. after he left class, the College of Marin said in a campus alert posted today.
