CHP Investigate Three Vehicle Thefts in Same Day

California Highway Patrol officers found three Hondas that were reported stolen on March 6.

California Highway Patrol officers are searching for suspects involved in three incidents of stolen vehicles that occurred on March 6, according CHP spokesperson Eric Hohmeister.

On 11:28a.m. yesterday, CHP officers responded to a one-car collision on Highway 37, just east of Highway 101. A black Honda lost control and hit the guardrail. A woman and man left the vehicle and fled across the railroad tracks, a witness told the CHP.

At 1:30p.m. a CHP officer found disabled 1994 Honda Civic on Highway 101, just south of Ignacio Boulevard, and at 4:30p.m. officers located a 1995 Honda Civic on the 200 block of Las Gallinas Avenue.

All three vehicles were reported stolen to the and were running or with the ignition in the "on" position, but with no keys. The suspects were not located in the area, according to Hohmeister.
