CHP Arrest Teen Suspected of Tagging Bus Stop
CHP found an 18-year-old from Richmond allegedly vandalizing a Lucas Valley Road bus stop near US-101.
Marin California Highway Patrol arrested an 18-year-old Richmond man Tuesday on suspicion of vandalism and possession of one ounce of marijuana, according to CHP spokesman Eric Hohmeister.
Around 3:55 p.m. a Marin CHP unit spotted Antonio Romero crouched behind a bus stop on the southbound US-101 exit on Lucas Valley Road. Romero allegedly used a paint pen to graffiti and deface the bus stop, according to Hohmeister.
"While Romero was detained, the officer located a plastic bag in Romero’s property that contained dozens of paint pens, felt tip pens and a notebook containing sketches of graffiti tags," Hohmeister said.
