Car Crashes into San Rafael Café

The two passengers in the vehicle were injured and transported to the hospital.

A car slammed through the wall of a San Rafael café Thursday evening, according to the San Rafael Fire officials.

Firefighters responded to reports of the crash into Joe's Café at 4150 Redwood Highway at about 6 p.m., San Rafael Fire Chief Christopher Gray said.

The car had crashed through the north wall of the café, injuring the two passengers. They were transported to a hospital, according to Gray.

No one else was injured. Police are assisting firefighters in investigating the crash.
