Obituary: Christopher Arens

Services will be held on Thursday.

Christopher Andrew Arens, 46, of San Rafael, California, passed away with friends at his side on Nov. 2, 2013 due to cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. 

Chris was born in Livonia, Michigan in 1967. He graduated from Carsonville Port-Sanilac High, served four years in the United States Air Force stationed at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA and continued on to receive a degree in electronics from Heald College.

Chris lived in the Bay Area, including Alameda, San Francisco, Hayward and San Rafael, for the past 17 years. He worked in the motorcycle sales industry for many years, enjoyed riding and was a huge RC airplane enthusiast.

Chris was the loving father of Wyatt, age 18, and baby twins Spence and Abigail Rose. He is survived by his parents Marsha and Mathijs, brothers Jason, Mark and Andrew, and sisters Audrey and Laura.
