Youth Slam Poetry Competition Rocks the Library

On March 7th, the Mill Valley Library held its third Youth Slam Poetry Competition. 10 high school students from 3 different schools performed their original work, impressing the judges and leaving the audience in awe. Emcee Chinaka Hodge, an extremely accomplished poet and spoken word artist, kept the energy high all evening.
