The Marin County Pride joins the WCFA

After weeks of applications and talking to owners and commissioners around various leagues, the Marin County Pride have accepted entry into the WCFA (West Coast Football Association) for the 2014 season.

GM and Head Coach Clay Jackson stated "After speaking to Commissioner Wafer and couple of the other owners in the league we knew the WCFA was a good fit for us. Their vision for the league and their teams is right in line with the future plans we have for the Marin County Pride. We are more than excited that Commissioner Wafer and the WCFA have accepted us into the league."

The Marin County Pride are added to a league that includes teams from all over Northern California including Vallejo, Hayward, San Jose, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Reno, Sacramento, Modesto, and Angel Camp.

The Pride and the WCFA will begin regular season play in March 2014. Tryouts for the Marin County Pride will take place in the months of October and November. For more information visit: www.mcpridefootball.com
