Why I'm Running for Assembly -- A Video Message From Marc Levine

I’m running for state assembly because I love the North Bay, the place where my wife and I are raising our young children.

Marin and Sonoma are amazing places, but Sacramento has been failing our communities.

This election, we have a chance to make a change. I’ll work to reform Sacramento, reduce the power of special interests, and stand up for our local environment and schools.

I’ve served my community on the San Rafael City Council. At the local level we’re making government more open and accountable, reforming our local pension system, and increasing the use of clean renewable energy. These are the things we need to do at the state level.

Sacramento special interests have attacked me with more than a million dollars of deceptive, negative mailers and ads, because they want to keep the status quo in the capitol. But they can’t fool the voters of Marin and Sonoma.

Thank you for all your support, and please stand with me on election day!

It would be nice if the comments section had "Thumbs up / Thumbs down" like the PressRead More Democrat.
