Why Is This Weiner Sex Scandal Such a Crime?

I admit this was a disgusting piece of news. I decided to stick my neck out on this one, I have my own opinions about this matter and posted it to another news site. I appreciate that our Congress should be running smoothly without some new sex scandal but here are some views of mine below. 

As a woman in California who has seen all the online stuff now–nudes, date sites, cleavage shots­, Hugh Heifers women, Bill Clinton's escapades, adult toy shops in towns across American, porn sites, sexting of teens in classrooms­, sexual innuendos on clothing, movies with nudity, you name it–it is here, with the pictures, that I believe men and woman have gone crazy with their little cameras. Men filming sexual acts with their own wives, men selling off the same photos, women/men teachers having classroom sex, AOL has something about sex on most of their open menus. What gives anyone the right now to tell this man to quit his job?

Is there a different standard for men in public office than the girls like Lewinski who wear a "thong" to turn on Clinton by her own admission? Why is this Weiner scandal such a crime?

I personally think entertaine­rs or naked women like Gaga telling us their political views and wanting to change our children is far worse than some ego-starved congressma­n! He is immature, and did what millions of American men are doing now on their personal computers, showing off what they think turns women on. Period. They have had this notion for eons, that their tool is so pretty we women need to see it. It has become a national obsession. I blame the American people and the media.                          

I blame the American people, for allowing  Hugh Heifner- with his half-naked "heffers" to become so easily accessible to anyone online, or the Paris Hiltons who do those sudsy car washing scenes in teenie-weenie bikinis. For goodness sake!!

This is nothing more than shame to the person who did this. His family didn't do it. Like Tiger Woods, he will pay for his dumb-boy moves. And the women he was texting and sending the photo's to were not innocent. Are they losing their jobs over this? They are usually protected for their privacy. I really doubt they will lose their jobs over this.

I also think Mr Weiner should have changed his name years ago. UGH!

America, at least in part has become a sexpool, just like a cesspool. We all need to clean house and clean up our on line acts! That goes to the media that include coverage of this man's private life. I hope his wife does not leave him, but he made choices. Bad ones. Like Barry Bonds, we tend to build them up just to tear them down from the same pedestals we put them on. Mom always said,"If chickens  in a barn yard can get or find a drop of blood, they pick that chicken to death!"

I believe a higher power will deal with Mr Weiner.
