Please join us for an important Qigong fundraising class for Dina Gardner.
Reverend Dina Gardner is fighting pleomorphic sarcoma, an extremely rare form of cancer. There are only 10,000 cases in the United States every year and there are seventy different kinds of sarcoma. Because it is rare, little research or funding goes into it. Dina has had surgery followed by thirty-three radiation treatments yet new spots were discovered in her right lung and over the last few weeks, a few more were found in the left lung.
Dina has encountered some amazing doctors who are helping her and can start treating her soon. Any of the treatment she receives outside of her insurance system will have to be paid out of pocket and is very expensive. The costs are mounting and Dina is still trying to work part-time while going through all of this treatment. Dina has spent her life giving to others through her practice, teaching yoga, and many outreach programs. More info about her at dinagardner.net
