Mr. Penguin 2011

A total of 13 Dominican University of California students will vie for the crown of  “Mr. Penguin 2011” on Saturday, February 26 , at Angelico Hall.

Proceeds will go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tickets are $5 per person.

The Masters of Ceremonies will be Dominican junior and Student Body President Mark Lewis,  who was one of 14 DU students who competed last year for the  “Mr.  Penguin 2010” title in front of a crowd of 300 in Angelico Hall. The light-hearted event raised more than $900 for the Make A Wish Foundation, the nation’s largest wish-granting organization that, since 1980, has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
