Lifelines, A Benefit for Family Service Agency of Marin featuring Anne Lamott

Best-selling author Anne Lamott will bring her unique insight and wit to Family Service Agency of Marin's first Lifelines Benefit. As a former FSA client, Ms. Lamott's appearance holds particular significance. "I was single and broke and overwhelmed and FSA gave me hope and support." Ms. Lamott is the author of the most recent novel Imperfect Birds as well as seven other novels and five books of non-fiction. She explores faith, imperfection and the human heart with unique humor and poignancy.
The event is sponsored by Frank Solomon,Jr., Autodesk, Bank of Marin and Kaiser Permanente as well as other local businesses, and will include international cuisine served tapas style, wine, beer and cocktails, live jazz and free valet parking.
