About Canal Alliance
Canal Alliance has been serving Marin’s growing immigrant community for 29 years with a full spectrum of immigrant integration initiatives – from basic services to systemic solutions. Many Latino immigrants first came to Marin County in the 1980s and over the years have become more informed and integrated into the community. Canal Alliance’s role has changed as well. In the past we focused on helping people to survive. Now we also invest our resources in proven Pathways to Success —youth education, income enhancement, access to resources, and leadership development— so they may thrive.
