40 Hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training

Volunteer with us and make a difference in your community! Center for Domestic Peace is offering a 40-Hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training Tuesday, June 7; Thursday, June 9; Monday, June 13; Thursday, June 16; 9am – 5pm each day, & Saturday, June 18; 9am – 5:30pm. There are possible volunteer opportunities for the following positions: Women’s Emergency Hotline Advocates, Women’s Support Group Facilitators, and Batterer Intervention Program Facilitator. The training cost is $300. Participation in this training also qualifies for field placement college credit in social work and psychology courses, and is Board approved for MFT, LCSW, and Nursing Continuing Education Units.
