Trick or Treat on Fourth Street!

It's Scary! On Saturday, October 26, for the 29th year, Downtown San Rafael merchants will host a free Trick or Treat for ghosts, goblins, super-heroes, heroines and other magical creatures--otherwise known as San Rafael's darling children. From 1:00 until 2:30 pm, merchants on Fourth Street from Heatherton through the West End Village will be handing out treats to all children in costume. The Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) will be handing out recyclable treat bags in the City Plaza and in front of Rebound Bookstore in the West End Village. And for more fun, Woodland Pet's at 902 Third Street (enter on Lootens) is hosting a pet costume contest between 3 and 5 pm, with proceeds benefiting animal rescue organizations, including the Milo Foundation, Marin Friends of Ferals, and North Star Rescue. The BID will have special treats for the Fido too! Bring the whole family and enjoy Downtown San Rafael - It's a treat!
