Traditional vs Independent Publishing: What is the Most Viable Path for The Modern Author?
Bay Area Independent Publishing Association (BAIPA) offers a program to explore the most appropriate options if you want to get your book into print or e-book. Lee Foster, award-winning author/photographer will be the featured speaker. Foster has published 13 books using traditional publishers, and published independently using off-set, print-on-demand and ebooks. He focuses on travel covering 200 worldwide destinations and was named Lowell Thomas Travel Journalist of the year.Meeting will also include question and answer sessions where the broad spectrum of publishing issues are addressed. Cost is free for members and $10 for guests; includes refreshments.
