'Tis the Season: Celebrating Traditions, Singers Marin Annual Holiday Concert

It's that time of year again to join with family and friends to enjoy an uplifting and wonderfully warm performance of your favorite holiday songs in the great Bay Area holiday tradition with artistic director, Jan Pedersen Schiff and the six youth and adult choral ensembles of Singers Marin.  Hear many of your cherished seasonal favorites, including familiar Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs, popular winter standards and songs of peace. This year will bring a gospel-style twist to a few carols, including Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus,” with gospel singer, Parris Lane as one of our guest artists. Also on the program is “Twas the Night Before Christmas” featuring guest Broadway baritone, Robert Clink, and Dr. Elmo, singing with the children, his ever popular, “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.”  This year, the accompaniment will include a jazz combo with Irene Jacobson at the piano, Paul Eastburn on bass and Rob Hart on drums. Special visuals and lighting effects create a magical holiday show you are sure to enjoy.  This is an event you won't want to miss so reserve your seats today online at singersmarin.org!
