Second Fridays "Holiday Cheer" in Downtown San Rafael

Joyful Sounds of the Season to Fill City Plaza while Santa and his
Elves Gather Children's Wishes At Downtown San Rafael's Second Friday's

Downtown San Rafael is celebrating the season with a special
holiday concert presented by the youngest
members of the
San Francisco Boys
Chorus
, followed by the popular barbershop favorite, the Marintones, beginning at 6 pm at the
City Plaza.  Bundle up the family in
jackets, mufflers and gloves, take a photo with Santa and decorate Christmas
cookies with Santa's elves, courtesy San
Rafael High School's
drama department.
Downtown merchants are celebrating with special "Deals All Day"
discounts, and  Youth in Arts  will host a Pop-Up
craft store.  Art Works Downtown's Festive Second
Fridays Art Walk
will offer fine arts and crafts for those with discerning
tastes.  Plus, the San Rafael Fire Department will be on hand to collect new,
unwrapped toys for the city's Santa Cop collection
program.  There will truly be something
for everyone.

Produced by
the Downtown San Rafael Business Improvement District (BID), Second Fridays
activities are a complement to Art Works Downtown’s long-established Art Walk,
which takes place in gallery space, stores and cafes throughout downtown.
Live music at Riley Street Art Supply,
Marin Fencing Academy, Rebound Bookstore and Conchita carry the festive
atmosphere through the downtown.  Shop,
dine, enjoy art and music for a family friendly evening in downtown.
