Second Fridays "(Almost) Midnight in Paris" & Poodle Parade

Second Fridays "(almost) Midnight in Paris" - Music, Art, food and Poodle Parade!

Downtown San Rafael will take on a bit of Parisian flair with street musicians, entertainment, artists and French inspired food on Friday October 11, from 5 -8 pm, during our Second Fridays "(Almost) Midnight in Paris" event.

Why is it "(Almost) Midnight in Paris?" Please! We are not delusional enough to attempt to convince anyone that spending an evening in Downtown San Rafael is just like a night in Montmarte or--Mon dieu!--an evening strolling "La Rive Gauche," but for those of us who dream of "la vie en rose" a Parisian theme is irresistible.  Plus the Downtown Business Improvement District is pleased to promote Art Works Downtown's "Midnight in Paris" fundraiser on October 19. http://www.artworksdowntown.org/events/midnight-in-paris

And what would a night in Paris be without poodles? Voila: a Poodle Parade on Fourth Street, to benefit downtown's very own Guide Dogs for the Blind.
