PODS® and Orchard Supply Hardware hosting “Spring into Cleaning Tool Donation” drive

PODS® is working with

Orchard Supply Hardware for a “Spring into Cleaning Tool Donation” drive in an

effort to collect gently used tools benefiting Habitat for Humanity from March

to May. A PODS® container will be located at Orchard Supply Hardware

store in San Rafael to hold the tool donations. 

Habitat for Humanity for Greater San Francisco has helped

build 400 homes in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula, and several new

developments have been proposed in all three counties by the organization.

Habitat has renovated 200 more homes and 50 neighborhood facilities, and have

helped more families to qualify for homeownership through success financial

skill-building programs. Habitat provides a hand-up, not a hand-out for

families in desperate need of improved living conditions.
