The saxman’s Beatnik Jungle sound delivers upbeat, danceable blues that recall San Francisco’s Beat Poet era. Crossan has played with renowned music figures Albert Collins, James Cotton, Bonnie Raitt, Huey Lewis & The News, Elvin Bishop, and John Lee Hooker – and before that, gigged with The Coasters, The Drifters, Ben E. King, Percy Sledge, Del Shannon, and Frankie Valli. In the 90s, he was a member of The Tommy Castro Band on the late-night’s Comedy Showcase.
