Halloween Carnival & Costume Parade

Come to the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market on Saturday, October 26, to celebrate the spookiest day of the year with a Halloween Carnival! Dress up your children and bring them to the big farmers’ market tent for a Kids Costume Parade from 10:30 to 11:00 with the Superhero Band, or do the same with your pooch for a Costume Pup Parade from 11:00 to 11:30! The Farmers’ Market will also feature face painting, pony rides, kid’s music by Christopher Smith, and kids’ Halloween crafts by SCRAP, which reuses old materials to encourage creativity and reduce waste. Additional family friendly activities include Bossman and the Superbroke Brass and Tin and Strings Electric Marching Band, which will be making a superhero-costumed musical performance from 11:30 to 2:00. Of course, the Farmers’ Market will feature the best part of October and Halloween: food! Throughout the day, you can enjoy festive Halloween treats from a variety of vendors. The award winning carver behind Art Chef, will be visiting the market from 11:00 to 1:00 to create incredibly elaborate pumpkin carvings. Get inspired and visit the Marin Country Mart pumpkin patch to pick up a locally grown organic pumpkin of your own!
