French broom removal along the Moore Trail.
Meeting location is Marin Stables at the end of Wood Lane in Fairfax. Driving
from downtown Fairfax, turn onto Bolinas Rd. Go ½
mile and turn left onto Porteous Ave., then take a right on Wood Lane following
it all the way to the end into the stables parking lot. The Marin Stables will be serving “Cowboy chili” for the day’s
volunteers at noon


Trail crew events are suitable for ages 13 and older.

Age 8 or up can volunteer at habitat restoration events.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a permission form signed by a parent or guardian.

Volunteers under the age of 16 must have a parent present at the event.

 

Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants, dress for variable weather and bring a reusable water bottle. We provide breakfast snacks, water, tools and inspiration. Rain cancellation and fire closure information can be found by calling after 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event.
