Green Halloween Costume Swap

Bring a costume, get a costume: Come by the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market on October 5th to trade in your gently used costume and swap it for a new one! With the goal of reducing children’s exposure to food dyes, preservatives, and genetically engineered ingredients, as well as decreasing the waste so often affiliated with the holiday season, EcoMom Alliance of Marin has come together to host a fun-filled day encouraging healthy celebrating for the Halloween season. Families are invited to the Farmers’ Market to enjoy children's entertainment, live music, treats, face painting and a costume swap celebration at the farmers’ market on October 5th. If you’re interested in donating costumes early, you can drop them off at the Marin Country Mart Trading Post and Post Office starting September 16. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
