Sandy Relief Ride @ Pelō

Most of us are only one or two degrees of connection away from someone who suffered imeasurable losses when hurricane Sandy struck the east coast. Pelo riders Gina Catalano and Geri Gilbert as well as our own Allison Skinner have many close ties to family and friends in one of the hardest hit areas - the Rockaways and in particular Belle Harbor where many firefighters and police officers lost their homes while they were off working to save others. 

We want to do what we can to support these folks, so Pelo will be holding a fund raising ride and auction with all funds going directly to the Rockaways area.  For a suggested donation of $50 you will be rocked through a 60 minute ride lead by not one, but mulitple Pelō instructors (including Heather "HipHop" McKenzie, Alan "DaBoss" Roberts and more) plenty of after ride refreshments, a raffle, silent auction and all riders get a limited edition relief ride Pelo T shirt!

Gina has made arrangements with the Xavier High School relief fund, so 100% of the money raised will go directly to support the families of Rockaway who have lost their homes or are displaced due to storm damage.
