Open House for Local Wedding Vendors
Wedding vendors, brides and grooms-to-be and related interest guests are invited to attend an Open House and Walking Tour of the famous Maple Lawn Estate’s sprawling Victorian mansion and grounds on Wednesday February 27, 2013, 11AM – 1PM.
Maple Lawn Estate located on Mission Ave in San Rafael, was once home to one of the area’s leading families. It was built with 19th Century riches and was often the scene for “must attend” social and civic functions. For the past few decades, this grand estate had not been open to the public, but continued to set a gold standard for gracious events hosted by its members. Nowadays, this beautiful historic treasure is available for everyone to enjoy.
This Wedding Venue Open House will consist of a self-guided walking tour with video and wine & hors d' oeuvres provided in the bar. We are looking forward to meeting local area wedding planners, caterers, coordinators, photographers, videographers, consultants, florist, musicians, decorators, bakers and all other wedding related vendors as we would like to add you to our recommended vendors’ directory.
The primary intent of this open house is to showcase Maple Lawn Estate as a wedding venue to local wedding industry participants. However, we certainly welcome Brides and grooms-to-be along with other related guests, to please come and explore the many possibilities for a perfect wedding venue.
