Free Durable Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives Workshop: Taking Care of Mom, Dad, and Ourselves.
This short estate planning workshop focuses on what every elder needs to protect themselves and their loved ones in case of incapacity. Participants will have the opportunity to have simple incapacity documents prepared for them by volunteer attorneys at a subsequent session, as a service provided by the Marin County Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee and Legal Aid of Marin. Attendees must be at both sessions to receive their documents.
If more advanced estate planning work is necessary, the Marin County Bar Association will refer the participant to a qualified local attorney.
