This class is based on Pilates alignment principles. Because of the unstable base of the ball, it requires many deep stabilizing core muscles to perform. Originally the Fitness Ball was used by Physiotherapists for rehabilitation. It is a great workout, but so much fun that you won't notice you're working! No previous experience is required. Please bring an exercise mat, a blanket and your own Fitness Ball (55', 65', 75' depending on your height) - Don't have your own ball? You may buy or rent one directly from the instructor. New ball: $25. Rental $5 per class. Punch card available. INSTRUCTOR: Pranava Levine is a certified Pilates Mat Work instructor since 2006 and a Yoga instructor since 1985. She is detailed and attentive. She will modify an exercise if needed in order to fit your level, strength or health condition.
