First Aid (Ages 15 & Up)

Shock, bleeding, burns, bites & stings; dental, eye & nose injuries; injuries to limbs, spine; heart attack, stroke, severe allergic reaction; diabetes, seizures, poisoning; heat & cold-related injuries. INSTRUCTOR: Carole Gathman, Owner and President of CPR etc has been a registered nurse for 33 years. Carole worked in an ICU and Trauma Emergency Department in Michigan, before moving to California in 1987. Carole worked in the emergency departments at Marin General Hospital and Kaiser Terra Linda. She also worked as a nurse on a cruise ship in Hawaii as a Case Manager for Home Care Medicare patients.
