Finding Kind is a powerful film that raises awareness of and fosters change within the "girl world" of bullying.
In this powerful documentary, individual girls and woman share their personal experiences about girl-on-girl bullying and the universal truths about growing up as girls. Nearly 1 in 3 students admits to being bullied, is afraid to talk about it, and lists it as a concern regarding personal safety. In a series of interviews with girls, women and experts, Finding Kind shows that these girls have a lot to say. Finding Kind is a documentary of the filmmakers' quest to take these experiences and find a common ground of kindness and mutual respect.
This screening is co-sponsored by Marin Teen Girl Conference, Huckleberry Youth Programs, Marin County Office of Education and Marin Women's Commission.
