The annual Dia de los Muertos- “Day of the Dead” celebration will be held on Saturday, November 3 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Albert J. Boro Community Center (Pickleweed Park) located on 50 Canal Street, San Rafael. The event kicks off at 4:00 pm with family and art activities including the altar display followed at 6:00 pm by the annual procession through the Canal neighborhood and concluding with a celebration in the Albert J. Boro Community Center with music, traditional food and cultural performances. School and community groups as well as individuals interested in building an altar dedicated to lost loved ones, heroes or victims of disease or disaster can print an application at www.dayofthedeadsr.org .
