Downtown San Rafael heralds the holidays with restaurants offering fall harvest menu items, merchants offering discounts up to 25% during a “Flash Sale” and Live music in stops along Art Works Downtown’s Art Walk, this Friday, November 8, from 5 to 8 pm. Produced by the Downtown San Rafael Business Improvement District (BID), Second Fridays activities are a complement to Art Works Downtown’s long-established Art Walk, which takes place in gallery
space, stores and cafes throughout downtown.
Second Friday’s has moved in doors for November, with restaurants and cafes offering special menu items featuring pumpkin, apples or “pumpkin spiced” flavors. Additionally, merchants are offering discounts on
purchases to anyone flashing a “Flash Pass” (available for download at
www.srbid.org) between the hours of 5 and 8 pm. Live music will add to the fun with Miracle Mule playing honky-tonk blues at the Marin Fencing Academy, Todos Santos rocking it at Riley
Street Art Supply; A Fandango jam at Youth in Arts (bring your instruments and dancing shoes!); Gypsy Jazz violinist Hanna Mignano at The Folk Art Gallery; and Hector Lugo y LA MIXTA CRIOLLA at Conchita Store .
