Blessing of the Animals - Free at Grace North Church

It's worth the trip over the San Rafael bridge for this special blessing.  The congregation of Grace North Church invites pets and their people to a special "Blessing of the Animals" service inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. Bring your animal companion or a photo, or a picture of an endangered species in the wild you care about. The worth and connection of all life is honored in this blessing service, inviting your pet or a wild animal to flourish. We will also do a remembrance for pets who have died.

The sermon will be delivered by Dr.Lisa Fullam, who is also a veterinarian, an ethicist and associate professor at the Jesuit School of Theology.

FREE ! Any donations will be given to the Oakland SPCA.
