Benefit for Environmental Filmmaker Tonight at Open Secret

Help support the health,  hearth and home of our friend,  Don Briggs.



 
Film Maker, Veteran River Runner, Activist, Dancer, Raconteur, Don is in danger of being evicted from his current residence at Oduduwa (Marin City) where he has many friends and enough room to continue his creative works.

He will be showing his award-winning film  “Grand Canyon Suite” plus selected shorter river film at  Open Secret Bookstore , 923 C Street, San Rafael tonight.   

Film starts  at 8 pm; Arrive earlier for dinner & best  seating. plus dinner from Radiance Cuisine and chair massage from Gail the River Guidess.  


Don's longtime  river buddy, Mark Dubois — co-founder of the International Rivers Network ('84), Friends of the River  ('74), and Environmental Traveling Companions ('72)  — will join  Don in telling stories of river days gone by.
Suggested Donation: $10 to $110 or more, will help Don keep his home.
